From Rotterdam to Yorkshire
Marie van Mil is a speculative fiction writer. After having lived in the Netherlands and Germany, she is now based in Yorkshire, UK.
Marie has been a keen lover of fantasy and science fiction, starting her writing journey from the age of 8. She took this passion into adulthood and finished an MA in Writing at VU Amsterdam. After her move to the UK, Marie has joined various writing communities, from Leeds Writers’ Circle to the British Fantasy Society and London Writers’ Salon.

Writing Projects
In 2022 Marie’s short story ‘Unit 3TR00’ was published on the Emerging World website.
She is currently working on a second-world fantasy novel.
